Kobe, Kobe, and More Kobe

Quick Laker hits

  • Some people that don’t know Kobe continually make the mistake of thinking he’s going to shut it down whenever he incurs an injury, minor or medium. Those of us that DO know him know that he can’t. Not won’t, but CAN’T. The man is entirely too competitive, proud, and passionate. CSUF Alumnist Marc Stein explores this further, giving the rest of the world insight to Kobe’s inner-workings.
  • The Orange County Register’s Kevin Ding was the guy Kobe told initially, but L.A. Times’ Mike Bresnahan has the story as well. Kobe reportedly lit a fire under teammates Ron Artest and Lamar Odom before the team’s game in Dallas. His exact words can be found in the article, but I think it went something like this…Kobe: DO YOUR JOB!…but with far more expletives.
  • Lastly, Kobe proves that Phil Jackson isn’t taking his usual dig when he argues that Luke Walton is more important than we all think. Don’t worry, Phil, Luke. Kobe’s got your back.

Loosely Kobe-related, Pau Gasol is ready to go. Hopefully I’ll see him in uniform tonight as me and my boy are going to go watch the game. Good lookin’, Laron!

Till next time.

Being a Laker hater, I wish i could argue. But, alas, Kobe is great. the greatest single player in the league and the most competitive. And Luke is like a super role player haha.

  2. Anthony Burrola Says:

    This is arguably inarguable.
